Oneplus 5T will be launched at an event in New York on November 16 and it would go on sale from November 21. Before the launch the CEO of the company Pete Lau had tweeted about the price of the upcoming smartphone. In the tweet he mentions “cost of smartphone components is rising, but phones are also getting better” which could suggest the upcoming smartphone will cost more than its predecessor.

Followed by the statement he also says “OnePlus users will appreciate what’s coming” hinting that the upcoming smartphone could come at an affordable price like its predecessors. As per rumors, the smartphone may carry a price tag of 4000 Yuan ($600/€517) in China.
As per leaked configuration, the Oneplus 5T will rock a 6-inch display with Full-HD+ (2160 x 1080) pixels resolution and have a 18:9 aspect ratio. It will boast a 2.45Ghz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 paired with Adreno 540 GPU for handling graphical tasks.
The smartphone will also be available in two storage variants like its predecessor, base variant will come with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage while the premium variant will have 8GB of RAM with 128GB of built-in storage.
In terms of optics, the smartphone will sport same horizontal dual camera setup which has a 16MP Sony IMX398 sensor with f/1.7 aperture, fast autofocus, with a dual tone LED flash and a 20MP telephoto lens which can capture 2x zoomed images without losing details. Whereas, the selfie camera has been upgraded from 16MP to 20MP.
