Oneplus has been posting teasers of their upcoming smartphone, Oneplus 5T in a timely manner revealing some details about specs, design, etc. But the recent tweet comes with an image of a location is Manhattan, New York City and the caption says “Guess which city we’re going to party in for the #OnePlus5T launch!” which hints that the company will be unveiling the Oneplus 5T in New York.

Earlier leaks suggested that the smartphone will launch on November 16 in India, so the device could be simultaneously announced in India and US on the date or the company could announce the upcoming smartphone in New York on a prior date. Another tweet showed the Oneplus 5 and Oneplus 5T stacked which confirmed that the upcoming smartphone would also have the same dimension as its predecessor with a bigger display.
As for leaked specs sheet, the Oneplus 5T will rock a 6-inch display with Full-HD+ (2160 x 1080) pixels resolution and have a 18:9 aspect ratio. It will boast a 2.45Ghz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 paired with Adreno 540 GPU for handling graphical tasks.
The smartphone will also be available in two storage variants like its predecessor, base variant will come with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage while the premium variant will have 8GB of RAM with 128GB of built-in storage.
In terms of optics, the smartphone will sport same horizontal dual camera setup which has a 16MP Sony IMX398 sensor with f/1.7 aperture, fast autofocus, with a dual tone LED flash and a 20MP telephoto lens which can capture 2x zoomed images without losing details. Whereas, the selfie camera has been upgraded from 16MP to 20MP. It will pack a bigger 3600mAh battery and run on Android 7.1.1. As for pricing it could carry a price tag of ￥4000 ($603/€520) in Chinese markets.
