The company released their new flagship Oneplus 5 on June 20. Much of the specification were leaked ahead of the launch some by the company and rest were revealed by the leaksters on social media. The company has worked on design of the device to make it a stylish and compact. it’s the thinnest OnePlus flagship phone ever made with a thickness of 7.25mm.
Oneplus 5 is powered by 2.45Ghz octa-core Snapdragon 835 with 5.5 inch display with full HD resolution similar to its predecessor. The device comes in two variants 6GB of RAM with 64GB internal memory and 8GB of RAM and 128GB internal memory. Smartphone have 34 network bands, which means it would support network around the world. The device has a front facing fingerprint sensor integrated into the home button which could be unlocked in 0.2 sec.
Dual Camera of Oneplus 5 consists of a 16MP Sony IMX398 sensor with f/1.7 aperture, fast autofocus, with a dual tone LED flash and a 20MP telephoto lens which can capture 2x zoomed images without losing details. As for the selfie shooter it has 16MP camera on the front. It will be running on Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box with a decent 3,300mAh battery.
Now moving onto the pricing 6GB RAM and 64GB storage variant will be priced at $479 in US and €499 in Europe. For 8GB and 128GB storage variant it would cost nearly $539 in US and €559 in Europe. OnePlus 5 will be available in two colour option Midnight Black and Slate Grey.
