There are reports suggesting that the Chinese smartphone manufacturer is ready to introduce another mid-ranged smartphone, Oppo A79 by the end of the month. Recently, the smartphone got certified on TENNA revealing its specification and design.
The image reveals that the smartphone will feature elongated display with minimal bezels. In the rear, it will come with full metal back with a single primary camera with LED Flash following that the fingerprint sensor has also been placed in the center as there is no space left in the front. On the right side of the smartphone, it houses the power button, whereas the volume keys lie on the left side. And at the bottom, there is the 3.5mm jack beside which lies the USB Type-C port.
As for the leaked specs-sheet, The Oppo A79 will rock a 6.01-inch display with FullHD+ (2160 x 1080 pixels) and have an aspect ratio of 18:9. It will boast an octa-core MediaTek MT6763T processor with a clock speed of up to 2.5GHz paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage.
In terms of optics, the smartphone will feature a 16MP camera with flash on the rear, while in the front, it will come with a similar 16MP camera. The Oppo A79 would boot Android 7.1.1 Nougat with ColorOS on top out of the box and will come fitted with a 2900mAh battery. The device’s dimension’s are 157.3 × 76 × 7.2mm and weighs in at 140grams. It will be available in Black, Gold, and Blue color. The Oppo A79 is expected to cost around 2399 Yuan($361/€308).
