The Japanese smartphone maker has introduced an entry level smartphone, Eluga I5 in India. Just a few of days ago, the company unveiled the Eluga A4 smartphone, which is only available offline, but the Eluga I5 is listed on e-commerce portal Flipkart as coming soon, hinting the device’s arrival is on cards very soon. It cost around Rs. 6,490 (MRP Rs. 8,990), and will be available exclusively on Flipkart, in Black and Gold color options.
Moving on to the specs, the Panasonic Eluga I5 features a 5.0-inch LCD display with HD (720×1280 pixels) resolution and has 2.5D curved glass on top. The smartphone is fueled by an octa-core 64-bit MediaTek MT6737 chipset mated with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage, which can support MicroSD card for expansion up to 128GB.
Speaking of optics, it sports a 13MP camera with f/2.2 aperture, 5P lens, and LED flash. And has a 5MP front-facing camera with a 3P lens for selfies, video-call, etc.. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat and packs a massive 2500mAh battery.
It measures 143x71x7.5mm and weighs around 145grams. The connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.1, Micro-USB with OTG support. Sensors on board include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor.
