Panasonic has released its latest entry-level P-series smartphone P99 in India. The smartphone will be available across several Panasonic brand stores and offline retailers across the country and it will carry a price tag of Rs. 7,490. The Panasonic P99 will come in Champagne Gold, Black, and Blue colors.
Moving onto the configuration, the Panasonic P99 flaunts a 5-inch display with a HD (720 × 1280 pixels) resolution. It is powered by a 1.25GHz quad-core processor, which is clubbed with 2GB of RAM. Panasonic has added a 16GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 128GB with a microSD card.
As for the optics, the handset includes an 8MP primary camera with LED flash support and up front, there’s a 5MP front-facing camera. The company has added several modes in the camera application of the smartphone such as night, professional, beauty, burst, Panorama, and HDR. The front-facing camera also has modes such as HDR, beauty, and burst mode.
The connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS, and a micro USB port. It measures 144.76 x 71.80 x 8.60 (height x width x thickness) and weigh 145.00 grams. The smartphone runs Android 7.0 and packs a 2000mAh non removable battery.
