We have come across many press renders of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A7 2018 edition, which is expected to be launched by the South Korean firm early 2018. And now some real life images of the upcoming smartphone has been leaked on Weibo confirming and contradicting some past leaks.
Let’s start with the contradiction, the image reveals that the upcoming smartphone will sport a dual selfie camera which is surprising as all past renders only shows a single front-facing camera. Another contradiction comes in the leaked image, the name of the handset is Samsung A8+ 2018, which is editable as we know the device name could be changed manually, the model number of the smartphone is also visible “SM-A730F” which suggests it is Samsung Galaxy A7. Expect that all other design aspects are similar such as the Galaxy A7 will feature a full-view elongated display.
Earlier the smartphone has been spotted on several benchmarking platforms where most of its core specifications were leaked, it will feature a 5.7-inch AMOLED bezel-less infinite display with 2160×1080 resolution and the 18:9 aspect ratio. It will be backed by Exynos 7885 or Snapdragon 630 depending from the market where the device will be launched. The smartphone will come in two options, base variant will have 4GB RAM clubbed with 32GB of built-in storage and a premium variant will come with 6GB RAM mated with 64GB of internal storage.
Camera-wise, the Samsung Galaxy A7 is expected to sport a single 16MP camera on the rear and it would have a dual camera setup at the front with a 16MP sensor for selfies and video-call. The handset will boot-up older Android 7.1.1 Nougat and to keep light on it packs a 3600mAh battery.
