After a countless number of CAD renders, rumors and leaks, some live images of the Oneplus 5T has surfaced online along with the promotional packaging and accessories revealing the configuration and design. The leaked images also compare the device with other handsets like the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 and the Galaxy S8.
The live images show that the Oneplus 5T will feature a display with minimal bezels on the side and has 18:9 aspect ratio. And when compared to its predecessor the all over dimensions of the smartphone are same. The fingerprint scanner has been shifted to the rear as there is space left on the front end.
The smartphone will come with the Full Optic AMOLED display which brings a new technology called Sunlight display that comes to improve the usability and adaptiveness over intense sun scenarios. The screen will also adapt depending from the application or feature running on the device such as accessing gallery or taking a photo. The feature will automatically detect what user is running on the handset and adjust the screen to fit perfectly.
Spec-wise the Oneplus 5T will rock a 6.01-inch Optic AMOLED display with Full-HD+ (2160 x 1080 pixels) resolution and for the protection it comes with Gorilla Glass 5. Other than that the configuration of the smartphone is similar to its predecessor, as it is also powered by 2.45Ghz octa-core Snapdragon 835 paired with Adreno 540 GPU.
The device comes in two variants 6GB of RAM with 64GB internal memory and 8GB of RAM and 128GB internal memory. Smartphone have 34 network bands, which means it would support network around the world. The device has a rear facing fingerprint sensor which could be unlocked in 0.2 sec.
Dual Camera of Oneplus 5T also comes with a 16MP Sony IMX398 sensor with f/1.7 aperture, fast autofocus, with a dual tone LED flash and a 20MP telephoto lens which can capture 2x zoomed images without losing details. As for the selfie shooter it has 16MP camera on the front. It will be running on Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box with a decent 3,300mAh battery.
The handset measures 156.1 x 75 x 7.3mm and weighs around 162grams. The flagship will be available in total 33 countries. The OnePlus 5T will be officially unveiled on next week, November 16. The handset will be available for open sales in the North America and Europe from November 21.
