A new set of live images of the upcoming Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 were leaked online. Just last week some live images of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 but it only showed the rear end of the upcoming smartphone. Now, the new pictures show the handset from both front and rear side.
The pictures reveal that the upcoming Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 will sport a minimal-bezel display with 18:9 aspect ratio. On the rear it will sport vertical dual camera setup followed by a LED flash and under that fingerprint scanner is placed.
Speaking about the rumored specifications of the smartphone, the Redmi Note 5 will sport a 5.5-inch LCD display with Full-HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution. The smartphone will be powered by Snapdragon 660 SoC or MediaTek Helio P25 SoC depending on the region. It will come in two storage options base variant will have 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, and the high-end variant will have 4GB of RAM and 64GB of built-in storage.
Moving on to the optics, the smartphone will sport a dual camera setup on the rear with one 12MP sensor and another 5MP sensor. And in the front, it will come with a 12MP sensor for selfie, video-call, etc.. It will pack a 4000mAh battery which less when compared to its predecessor and runs on MIUI 9 based on Android 7.1.1 on top. It will also support USB Type-C port with Quick Charge 3.0.
As for pricing base variant with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage would carry a price tag of ¥999 ($151/€127) whereas the high-end variant with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of built-in storage will cost around ¥1299 ($198/€165).
