A new set of CAD rendered images and video render of the upcoming mid-ranged Samsung Galaxy A5 (2018) and A7 (2018) has appeared online which reveals not only the design aesthetics but also comes with some configuration details. The upcoming Galaxy A5 (2018) and A7 (2018) are expected to feature display with minimal bezels on the side which contradicts earlier reports and renders which claimed the handsets will come curved edge Infinity display.
Looking at the renders shows that both Samsung Galaxy A5 (2018) and A7 (2018) will have a metal-and-glass design and It seems like these devices would also feature dual front-facing cameras which will be a first for Samsung. But on the rear it would still sport a single camera setup and under that the fingerprint sensor will be placed.
The smartphones will come with features like Always On Display, IP68 certification for dust and water resistance, Samsung Pay, and USB Type-C port. The Galaxy A5 (2018) and the Galaxy A7 (2018) are expected to fueled by the Exynos 7885 processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage which can be expanded via MicroSD card. The 10nm Exynos 7885 chipset will come with two Cortex-A73 CPU cores with four Cortex-A53 cores, and the Mali-G71 GPU. The phones will run Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box.
The Samsung Galaxy A5 (2018) and A7 (2018) will also feature a bigger display than their predecessor as Galaxy A5 will feature 5.5-inch screen and its body measure 148.8 x 70.5 x 8.4mm. The Galaxy A7 (2018) will feature a 6-inch screen and its body measure 159.6 x 75.6 x 8.2mm.
