Sony will be introducing their new flagship Sony Xperia XZ1 at an event in IFA 2017 Berlin. Now some press renders images has been leaked online revealing the design of the upcoming flagship smartphone.
Looking at the images the design aesthetics remain the similar to its predecessor Xperia XZ Premium. The Sony Xperia XZ1 will also be not following any smartphone trends such as bezel-less display or dual camera setup on the rear. What’s new about the smartphone is the placement of the NFC sensor which is now located with dual tone LED flash, Laser AF and RGBC-IR sensor.
As for the leaked configuration, the Sony Xperia XZ1 will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 with Andreno 540 GPU and it will come with 4GB of RAM. It will feature a 5.2-inch HDR Triluminos display and will sport a 19MP camera on the rear. And in the front, it will have a 13MP camera for selfies, video-call, etc.. The handset will come with a new Sony 3D creator feature and will be protected from dust and water as it has IP65/68 certification.
