The South Korean smartphone giant is expected to introduce its mid ranged smartphones, Galaxy A5 and A7 by the end of January 2018. In the past the few CAD renders have surfaced online revealing the design aesthetics of the smartphone and now the smartphones has got US FCC certification, thus indicating the new series could launch soon.
The FCC listing does not reveal any of the specifications of these smartphones, but both the devices have made appearances on the benchmarking platform revealing the configuration.
Staring with Samsung Galaxy A5, it will boast a 1.59GHz octa-core Exynos 7885 coupled with 4GB of RAM, whereas the US and China model will be powered by 1.84GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 paired with a whopping 6GB of RAM. The smartphone will rock a 5.5-inch AMOLED Infinity display with 18:9 aspect ratio and full HD+ (2160 x 1080 pixels) resolution. Meanwhile, the device has also been spotted on Samsung Official support page.
Moving on to the Samsung Galaxy A7, It is expected to feature a bigger 6-inch AMOLED Infinity display with 18:9 aspect ratio.The Exynos 7885 10nm chipset is expected to power the Galaxy A7 (2018) smartphone. It is also expected to carry support for Bluetooth 5.0. The handset will come with IP68 certification for water, dust resistance, and sport a Type-C USB port for charging.
