Samsung’s budget friendly smartphone Galaxy J5 Prime was earlier spotted on GFXBench and the FCC, where some of its basic specs were revealed. And now, the recent specs-sheet listing was leaked by the reliable tip @Slashleaks which confirmed and revealed some key configuration.
According to the listing, the new Samsung Galaxy J5 Prime will rock a compact 5.0-inch IPS LCD display with Full-HD (1280 x 720 pixels) resolution. It will be fueled by a Quad-core Exynos 7570 which is clocked at 1.4GHz and has Mali-T720. The smartphone has 3GB of RAM and 16GB of built-in storage, which will support MicroSD card for expansion up to 128GB.
The smartphone will come with sensors such as fingerprint, accelerometer and proximity. It will be backed by a 2500mAh battery and will boot up on Android 7.1.1 Nougat with custom Touch Wiz on top. It measures 142.7mm of length x 69.6mm of width x 8.1mm of height.
In terms of optics, the smartphone will feature a single 12MP sensor on the rear. And in the front, it will come with an 8MP front-facing camera for selfie, video-call, etc. Both cameras would would shoot videos at Full-HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution.
