A few days ago the upcoming flagship Samsung Galaxy Note8 appeared on the Geekbench revealing some of its specifications. Now the smartphone was spotted two different benchmarking platform Antutu and GFXBench which revealed and confirmed some configuration.
According to the Antutu listing where the device had model number SM-N9500, the smartphone boasted a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage which is expandable via MicroSD card up to 256GB. For handling graphical tasks or games it will be powered by Adreno 540 GPU. It will sport a display with 1080 x 2220 resolution. The Samsung Galaxy Note8 will feature a horizontal dual camera setup with 12MP and 8MP sensors with dual LED flash. It will be running on Android 7.1.1 Nougat with Touch wiz on top.
Moving onto the GFXBench listing with model number SM-N950, this model was powered by Samsung Exynos 8895 with Mali-G71 GPU. The screen size was confirmed at 6.4-inch but with a higher resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels. As for optics, the front-facing camera will have a 7MP sensor for selfies and video-call. Other details were similar to the Antutu listing.
The smartphone will be officially announced by the company in New York by next week most of the specification are known to us, but we still haven’t got any confirmation regarding its battery capacity, but if rumors are to be believed it will pack a smaller 3300mAh compared to its predecessor. The Samsung Galaxy Note8 will price around at a whopping €999.
