Samsung is rumored to introduce their next flagship Galaxy S9 and S9 plus early next year by the end of February. There have been plenty of leaks which reveal the design aesthetics of the upcoming smartphone, but recently the device with model number SM-G965F has made an appearance on the benchmarking platform Geekbench revealing some key specs.
According to the listing, the Samsung Galaxy S9 will be fueled by 1.50GHz octa-core Exynos 9810 chipset which was recently unveiled. The smartphone will come with 4GB of RAM like its predecessor and was running on the latest Android 8.0 Oreo at the time of testing.
The smartphone achieved a score of 1191 on the single core test which is on lower side as its predecessor Note 8 scored about 1984 on a single core and similar results could be found on the multi core test as the device scores about 3835 whereas the Note 8 scored 6116. The development of the smartphone is still in the initial phase, so the final performance result would differ from these.
As the handset was powered by Exynos 9810 chipset, which suggests that it will be available in global markets as the company releases their smartphones with Qualcomm processors in U.S and Chinese markets. No other details regarding the pricing, optics specs, etc. is known to us at the moment.
