The South Korean tech giant Samsung has launched a new Samsung Galaxy Tab A. The tablet will only available in Vietnam as of now, where it would price around VND 6,490,000, ($285/€237). There’s no information on if and when it will be made available in other markets.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A will feature a 8-inch WXGA display with HD+ (1280 x 800) resolution. The smartphone will be powered by 1.4GHz quad-core Snapdragon 425 SoC coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage, which is expandable via microSD card up to 256GB.
On the rear, it would sport an 8MP primary camera with f/1.9 aperture and flash. As for the front-facing camera it has a 5MP sensor for selfies and video-call. The handset will pack a 5,000mAh and will run on Android 7.1.1 Nougat underneath the custom Touch Wiz.
The Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, 3.5mm jack, and GPS + GLONASS / Beidou. The tablet measures 212.1×124.1×8.9mm and weighs 364grams.
