Samsung has unveiled a new budget friendly J-series smartphone Samsung J2 (2017) edition in India. The smartphone has been listed on the company’s Indian website. But it is not available for purchase as of yet and the pricing of the smartphone is also not known at the moment.
As for the specification, The Samsung J2(2017) rocks a 4.7-inch Super AMOLED display with 540 x 960 pixels resolution. It is fueled by 1.3GHz Quad-Core Exynos processor paired with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of built-in storage, which supports Micro SD card (up to 128GB) for expansion.
Moving onto optics, The handset features a 5MP camera on the rear with autofocus and flash. In the front, it comes with a 2MP selfie camera. It packs a 2000mAh battery which should be enough for a smaller display and runs on Android OS version is not mentioned.
The connectivity options include 4G, GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, Glonass, and 3.5mm audio jack. Sensors on-board are Accelerometer and Proximity Sensor It will be available in Metallic Gold and Absolute Black colours. It measures 136.5x69x8.4mm and weighs 130 grams.
