The invitation shows two sleek bezels on top and bottom and there is no bezel on the side which confirms previous reports that the smartphone will have infinity display similar to the S8 duo. The tagline on the invitation is ‘Do Bigger Things’ which hints a bigger display. On the bottom the event name ‘unpacked’ and the date ‘08.23.2017’ are mentioned.
As for previously leaked configuration the Galaxy Note8 will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset in the US and for global markets it will have an Exynos 8895 CPU. The device is expected to come in two options 4GB and 6GB of RAM with different storage versions such as 64GB, 128GB, 256GB which will support MicroSD card. The handset will be IP68 certified for protection against dust and water.
The Samsung Galaxy Note8 will sport a 6.3 inch Super AMOLED infinity display with QHD (2560 x 1440) resolution. On the rear it will feature a 12MP horizontal dual camera with Heart Rate Sensor and front-facing camera will have IRIS scanner with it. The handset will pack a 3300mAh battery and it will have support for upgraded S-Pen as well. Earlier rumors suggest that the Galaxy Note8 will cost around €999 ($1100+) which will make it Samsung’s costliest smartphone ever.
