Sony is working on its upcoming flagship Sony G8341 and its compact variant Sony G8441. The company will be unveiling both the devices at IFA 2017 in Berlin with the rest of the company’s lineup. Recently The Sony G8341 was spotted on Benchmarking Platform Geekbench which revealed most of its specification.
According to the listing, The Sony G8341 will be powered by 1.90GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 with Andreno 540 GPU and it will come with 4GB of RAM. The smartphone will be running on Android 7.1.1 Nougat underneath the Xperia UI whereas its compact version, Sony G8441 which was spotted on Antutu earlier revealed that it will be running on Android 8.0 instead.
As for rumored specs, The Sony G8341 will feature a 5.2-inch display with Full-HD (1920 x 1080) resolution and the compact version will have a 4.7-inch display with lower HD (1280 x 720) resolution. The Sony G8341 and G8441 will be launching as Sony Xperia XZ1 and Xperia XZ1 Compact. The G8341 could cost around $860(€760) and it would be available in four color variants such as Black, Moonlite Blue, Venus Pink, and Warm Silver.
