Sony seems to be working on another flagship smartphone as a new smartphone with model name Sony G8541 was spotted on the benchmarking platform GFXBench. Most of the configuration of the upcoming smartphone was revealed by the benchmarking platform.
According to the listing, the Sony G8541 would feature a massive 6.2-inch triluminos display with Full-HD (1920 x 1080) resolution. Surprisingly, GFXBench revealed another screen size with a bigger 12.3-inch triluminos display with Ultra-HD (3840 x 2160 ) resolution, which could mean there could be another variant which is likely a tablet or the benchmarking platform could have malfunctioned during the test.
Moving onto the processor, the smartphone will boast a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 with Adreno 540 GPU. It will have 4GB of RAM with 128GB of built-in storage. As for optics, it would sport an 18MP camera on the rear and a 12MP front-facing camera for selfies and video-call. The Sony G8541 will be running on the latest Android 8.0 Oreo. The handset could be the ultra version of the upcoming Sony XZ1.
