Sony has launched its mid-ranged smartphone Xperia XA1 Plus in India today. The smartphone was officially announced at IFA 2017 last month. It will be available for purchasing from September 22 onward in the company’s offline stores. It will come in Black, Blue, and Gold colours.
Sony Xperia XA1 Plus will have a 5.5-inch Triluminos display with full-HD (1920 x 1080) resolution and will be protected by Gorilla Glass 5. The smartphone is powered by a 64-bit octa-core MediaTek Helio P20 SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM and Mali T-880 MP2 GPU for graphics. As for built in storage, the smartphone comes with 32GB of fast UFS storage which can be expanded via a microSD card up to 256.
The handset will sport a 23MP camera with Exmor RS sensor with hybrid autofocus and 24mm wide-angle f/2.0 aperture lens on the back. As for front-facing camera, the smartphone will feature an 8MP camera with with 23mm f/2.0 aperture lens that is capable of taking low-light photographs at an ISO3200.
The smartphone will pack a 3430mAh battery with Pump Express + 2.0 quick charging support. The smartphone is water and dust resistant with an IP68 certification. For audio, the smartphone comes with Hi-Res Audio, digital noise cancellation, S-Force surround sound, stereo recording, and Qualcomm’s own aptX audio software. Connectivity includes Bluetooth 4.2, 4G LTE, VoLTE, NFC, Dual-band MIMO Wi-Fi a/c and USB 2.0. The smartphone will also be running on Android 7.1.1 nougat underneath Sony custom skin. The Sony Xperia XA1 Plus measures 155x75x8.7mm and weighs 190 grams.
