According to some recent reports, Sony will also be joining the bezel-less display trend with its upcoming flagship H8541. And recently a listing image has also surfaced which reveals the specification of the upcoming flagship. The South Korean smartphone company is expected to unveil the Sony H8541 at the 2018 Mobile World Congress (MWC).
As per the leak, the Sony H8541 will rock a 5.7-inch HDR display with 4K(3840 × 2160 pixels) resolution and for the protection it will come with with Gorilla Glass 5 on top. The smartphone will be fueled by the current flagship chipset, Qualcomm Snapdragon 835, it is little disappointing as Qualcomm will be releasing the new flagship SoC, Snapdragon 845 soon which will perform better in every aspect.
The handset will come with 4GB of RAM clubbed with 64GB of UFS storage and to keep the smartphone running, it will pack a 3,420 mAh battery which will support Quick charge 3.0. It will boot up Android 8.0 Oreo with the custom Xperia UI on top. The connectivity option on the Sony H8541 will include Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, GLONASS, NFC, a USB Type-C port.
It will also come with IP68 certification, which means it can be underwater for 30 minutes at depths of up to 1.5m and have dust resistance. The smartphone will measure 149 x 74 x 7.5 mm. As of now, no other details regarding the pricing, camera specs, etc. are known to us at the moment.
