Xiaomi will be releasing their new budget friendly smartphones Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5A in coming months. Before the release of the smartphones, a new leak has surfaced on Chinese social networking website Weibo which reveals most of the specifications.
Commencing with Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 which will be the successor to the Redmi Note 4, it will also feature a 5.5-inch display with a Full-HD (1920 x 1080) resolution. The smartphone will boast Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 and will be available in two storage variants 3GB of RAM with 32GB of internal storage and 4GB of RAM with 64GB of internal storage. Both will support MicroSD card on their hybrid slot.
The Note 5 will sport a 16MP camera with LED flash on the rear and as for the front-facing camera, it has a 13MP camera for selfies, video call, etc. it packs a smaller 3790mAh battery compared to its predecessor and will be running on Android 7.1.1 Nougat with MIUI on the top.

Moving on to the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A, it will feature a larger 5.5-inch display with a better Full-HD (1920 x 1080) resolution when compared to its predecessor. The handset will boast Qualcomm Snapdragon 620 and will be available in three storage variants 3GB of RAM with 32GB of internal storage, 3GB of RAM with 64GB of internal storage and 4GB of RAM with 64GB of internal storage. It will support MicroSD card on their hybrid slot.
On the rear the Redmi Note 5A will also sport a dual camera setup with two 12MP Omnivision OV12A10 sensor and 13 MP OV12880 sensor and it has a 5MP front-facing camera for selfies, video call, etc. it is also powered by same 3790mAh battery and will be running on Android 7.1.1 Nougat with MIUI on the top.
