The Chinese Smartphone Manufacturer unveiled two new mid-tier smartphones X20 and X20 Plus smartphones in China. The smartphone will come with in-trend features like 18:9 Full View and dual cameras on the rear. It will be available in Matte Black, Gold, and Rose Gold colors. Most of the configuration are similar but the Plus variant comes with a bigger display and battery.
Starting with specs-sheet, the Vivo X20 and X20 Plus will be powered by a 2.2 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 paired with Adreno 512 GPU. The smartphones will come with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of built-in storage, which is further expandable via microSD card up to 256GB.
Moving on to optics, the smartphones sports a horizontal dual camera setup on the rear with primary 12MP sensor with f/1.8 aperture and a secondary 5-megapixel sensor. On the front they have 12MP fron-facing camera with f/2.0 for selfies, video-call, etc. Both handsets run on FunTouch OS based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box.
As for displays, the Vivo X20 will feature a 6.01-inch Full View Super AMOLED display with full-HD+ (1080×2160 pixels) resolution with 18:9 aspect ratio whereas the X20 Plus will come with a bigger 6.43-inch Super AMOLED panel with the same resolution. The X20 has a 3,245 mAh battery and the plus variant comes with 3,905 mAh battery.
In terms of dimensions, the X20 measures 155.85×75.15×7.2mm and weighs around 159 grams while the X20 Plus measures 165.32×80.09×7.45mm and weighs around 181.5 grams. The connectivity option includes 4G, VOLTE, Wi-Fi, USB 2.0, OTG, Bluetooth 5.0, and GPS.
Both smartphones will be up for pre-booking from September 25 onward and go on sale starting on September 30. The X20 is priced at CNY 2,998 ($454 or €381) whereas the X20 Plus will cost CNY 3,498 ($530 or €444).
