Chinese smartphone manufacturer Vivo has released their new selfie focused handsets Vivo X9S and Vivo X9S Plus with dual front facing cameras. At the Moment both the devices are only available in China, there is no detail about the global release of the device or the pricing. Both the devices have similar specification but as the name suggest Plus comes with a larger display.
Starting with Vivo X9s, the smartphone is powered by 1.8GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 SoC with Adreno 510 GPU. the handset has a 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage which is non-expandable. It features a 5.5 inch AMOLED display with Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution and the device will be running on Android 7.1.1 Nougat with vivo’s Funtouch OS 3.0 on top.
Vivo X9s has dual front-facing cameras for great selfies, with 20 MP and 5 MP sensors with flash for darker environments. On the rear it has a 16MP camera with LED flash, PDAF, F2.0 aperture, auto focus, Video recording (with Slow Motion recording), HDR, Panorama, Super Clear features. It is backed up by a 3320mAh built-in battery and connectivity options includes 4G LTE, 3G, Wifi IEEE 802.11 a / b / g / n / ac, Bluetooth 4.2, USB2.0, GPS, OTG and other options as well. A fingerprint sensor is built into the Home button.
Moving on to the bigger Vivo X9s Plus, it features a a 5.85 inch AMOLED display with Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution. As for processor it is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 653 an octa-core Snapdragon 653 with Adreno 510 GPU. It packs a bigger 4,015 mAh battery. Other than these all other specs are similar to Vivo X9s. Vivo X9s is priced at CNY 2,698 ($396 , whereas the X9s Plus goes for CNY 2,998 ($440).
