Vivo will be introducing two new Y-Series smartphone in coming months. As, recently Vivo Y66 and Y75 were spotted on the TENAA and some of their configurations were also revealed along with the design of the upcoming smartphones.
Starting with mid-ranged Vivo Y75, it will be fueled by a 2.0Ghz octa-core, which could be translated into Snapdragon 620 which will be paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage. The device will feature a 5.7-inch LCD display with HD+ (720 × 1440 pixels) resolution and has a 18:9 ratio.
In terms of camera, the smartphone rocks a single 13MP rear camera on the rear. And has a 16MP front-facing camera for selfies and video-call, indicating that the phone will focus on selfie enthusiasts. The smartphone will come with Android 7.1.2 underneath custom FunTouch OS, with a 2900mAh battery keeping the lights on. The device weights just at 139g and its overall dimensions are 149.3 × 72.8 × 7.98mm.
Moving on to the entry-level Vivo Y66, the phone will come horsened by a 1.4Ghz quad-core which supposedly Snapdragon 427. There are 3GB of RAM with 32GB of built-in storage. The handset will sport 5.5-inch LCD display with HD (720 x 1280 pixels) resolution.
Camera-wise the Y66 features a 13MP camera on the rear and a 5MP selfie-camera. It will be powered by 2930mAh battery and runs FunTouch OS based on Android 7.1.2 Nougat out of the box. Overall Vivo Y66 dimensions are 153.56 × 75.79 × 7.49mm and weighs around 157g.
