The Chinese tech giant Xiaomi collaborated with HRX by Hrithik Roshan to launch its new fitness Mi Band HRX Edition, which is an adaptation of the Mi Band 2. The Mi Band HRX Edition will be available from September 18 on,and Mi Home offline stores and will be sold on other E-commerce website such as Myntra, Flipkart, and Amazon starts September 20.
The company claims that the Mi Band will have 23 days of battery life with an improved tracking algorithm as well as splash resistant capability. Though it does not come with a heart rate sensor on the inside like the regular Mi Band 2. It features a 0.42-inch OLED screen with scratch-resistant glass.
The MI band shows the steps, distance covered, and calories burnt. It has an improved pedometer for more accuracy in steps and exercise measurement, and also alerts you if you have been idle for too long. It also calculates your sleep, is splash resistant, sends calls and notification alerts, and unlocks your paired Android smartphone without the need to put in a passcode or fingerprint as well.
The band comes with IP67 cerifcation and supports Bluetooth 4.0. It weighs 7g without its rubber strap. The Mi Band HRX Edition will available in Black and Blue. Green and Orange and cost around Rs.1,299 ($20).
