Xiaomi released a new Smartphone Mi Max 2 in few markets last month. The device was launched with only Gold colour variant and now the company has introduced a new Matte Black variant of the smartphone as well. The new colour variant is only available in Hong Kong at the moment other than colour all other specification are same.
Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is priced at HKD 1,899 ($243) and the Matte Black variant will only be available with 64GB internal storage option unlike the gold version which has a 128GB variant too. The device is powered by a 2.2Ghz octa-core Snapdragon 625 Soc with Adreno 506 and 4GB of RAM. Smartphone features a large 6.44 inch display with Full-HD resolution and it runs on Android 7.0 Nougat with MIUI 8 skin on top.
As for camera Xiaomi Mi Max 2 sports a 12MP rear camera with PDAF support, dual-LED flash and in the front it has a 5MP camera for taking selfies. The device packs a massive 5300mAh battery, which has support for Quick Charge 3.0. The Mi Max 2 supports 4G connectivity, Wi-Fi, GPS, and Bluetooth. Smartphone also features an IR blaster, which can act as a universal remote for TV and air conditioner.
