Xiaomi is working on a entry level model Mi 6c. The company has started smaller variants of its flagship phones with ‘c’ moniker every year since 2015. This year’s model is codenamed as “Jason” and it is expected to be a great mid ranged phone with good specification.
Recently it was found running GFXBench on the system which gave us a peek at its specification. The device will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 which is an octa-core chip with all the eight cores clocked at 2.2GHz. The Snapdragon 660 replaced the Snapdragon 653 in the upper mid-range chipset category. As for display it would have a 5.1-inch screen with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, but the pixel density isn’t revealed in the listing.
Adreno 512 GPU will support the graphics on the phone along with whopping 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. There will be a 11MP camera at the back of the phone, and a 3MP snapper adorns the front of the phone. MI 6c will run on Android 7.1.1 Nougat, with MIUI on top. There is still some of the specs that are unknown at the time but all in all it’s gonna be a great mid ranged offering by the company.
