Xiaomi Mi Mix2 will be launched by the company on September 11. Before the Launch Lei Jun, the CEO of Xiaomi has been teasing fans, by posting teasers on a regular basis. The recent teaser shows the retail packaging for the upcoming smartphone and declared that the phone has entered mass production.
Another leak came from Chinese social networking website Weibo where an image of Xiaomi Mi Mix2 front panel was posted. The picture reveals that the smartphone will have an even thinner bezel when compared to its predecessor. Some rumors claim that it will feature a smaller 6.0-inch display with Ultra-HD (2960 x 1440) resolution.
As for configuration, the handset will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 836 with 6GB of RAM and there could be 8GB variant also. It packs a 4400mAh battery and runs on Android 8.0 Oreo with custom MIUI 9 on top. On the rear, the smartphone will sport a 20MP camera with dual-tone LED flash. It will have 5MP front-facing camera for selfies, video-calls, etc..The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 is expected to cost around ¥ 4999 ($748) in the Chinese market.
