The Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Xiaomi is expected to launch their new budget friendly smartphone Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus on November 11 single’s day. Now a series of leaks has revealed the design, specification and pricing of the upcoming smartphone. It will come in two variants with model number MDE1 and MDT which has been confirmed as they have received 3C certification in China.
Recently, some real life pictures of the Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus has surfaced online which shows the device front side only. The images reveal that the upcoming smartphone will feature a big display with 18:9 aspect ratio and have thinner bezel all around compared to its predecessor.
As far as the specification is concerned, the upcoming smartphone will come equipped with a 5.7-inch LCD display with HD+(1440 × 720 pixels) resolution. It will be powered by a hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor coupled with Adreno 506 GPU.
The smartphone will be available in two storage options, base variant will come with 3GB of RAM mated with 16GB of inbuilt storage and the high end model will have 3GB of RAM and 32GB of built-in storage.
Camera-wise, the handset will sport an 8MP on the rear with led flash and in the front it will have 6MP camera sensor for selfie, video-call etc. As for its pricing, the base vairiant with 3GB RAM + 16GB ROM will sell for 799 Yuan ($121/€104) while its higher variant with 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM will carry a price tag of 899 Yuan ($136/€117).
