Earlier the retail box of Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A was leaked, now the recent leak suggests that it would be launched in China on August 21. The smartphone will be an entry level smartphone by Xiaomi and is expected to cost around ¥ 1000 ($150). It will be the successor of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4A which was released by the company last year.
According to the leak, the smartphone will feature a 5.5-inch screen with HD (1280 x 720) display. The device will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage, which can be expanded via MicroSD card. It will pack a 3080mAh battery and will be running on Android Nougat 7.1.1 underneath the latest MIUI 9.
On the rear, it will sport a 13MP camera with LED flash and the front-facing camera will have a 5MP sensor for the selfies, video-call, etc. Going by the leaked image the device could be available in the Gold color variant. As for dimension, the smartphone will have 153 × 76.2 × 7.59 mm and weight around 150gm.
