Xiaomi launched the Mi Max 2 in India back in July 2017 in a single 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant for Rs. 16,999. And now, the Chinese company will be launching the smartphone with almost similar configuration with a slight change being 32GB of built-in storage and it would be available exclusively on Amazon for Rs. 14,999 from September 20 onward.
As for the specification, The Mi Max 2 features a massive 6.44-inch display with Full-HD (1920 x 1080) resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top for scratch resistance. It will be powered by 2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 625 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM, 32GB of built-in storage, which could be expanded via MicroSD card up to 128GB and Adreno 506 GPU for graphical tasks.

Moving on to the optics, the handset sports a 12MP sensor with PDAF, f/2.2 aperture, and dual-LED flash sitting at the back. And in the front it comes with a 5MP sensor for selfie, video-call, etc.. It packs a 5300mAh battery that supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0.
The connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, as well as dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac, USB Type-C, Bluetooth v4.2, and GPS/ A-GPS. Sensors on-board include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, infrared sensor, fingerprint sensor, and proximity sensor. The Mi Max 2 measures 174.1×88.7×7.6mm and weighs 211 grams. The smartphone will be available for Rs. 12,999 under introductory offer.
