The Chinese smartphone maker will be unveiling its new series of smartphone on September 5 in India. The smartphone will be the company’s first to have a dual camera setup on the rear. The smartphone is expected to be the Xiaomi MI 5X which was released in China last month.
According to a recent rumor, the company has collaborated with the search giant Google and could also launch its first Android One smartphone at the event. The smartphone will be called the Xiaomi Mi A1 which will have stock Android instead of MIUI. Except the OS all other specifications of the smartphone will be similar to the MI 5X.

The Xiaomi Mi A1 will boast a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 Soc with Adreno 506 GPU for handling graphic tasks. It will be available in a single variant which will have 4GB of RAM with 64GB of internal storage. It comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD display and weighs 165 grams, measures 7.3mm in thickness.
On the rear, the handset will sport a vertical dual camera with two 12MP sensors with one sensor used to capture standard RGB shots, whereas the other sensor has telephoto lens offering 2x zoom. The camera will support bokeh effect, which is used to blur the background in the images. The front-facing camera will have a 13MP sensor for selfies and video-call. It packs a 3,080mAh battery and will be available in Gold, Rose Gold, and Black.
