Xiaomi will be introducing a new series X smartphones, and it will be launching two new smartphones of series first one will be named as Xiaomi X1. A tipster on Weibo also claimed that the company will be releasing two variants for Xiaomi X1. Smartphones are expected to come with the MIUI 9 and latest version of Android.
The first variant of the Xiaomi X1 will have 5.5 inch display with 2160×1080 resolution and will have no bezel. Handset will be powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset. This variant will also have two option 4GB of RAM with 64 GB internal storage and 6GB with 128GB internal storage. Smartphone will sport a dual camera setup with either a Sony IMX362 sensor or IMX386 sensor with rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. As for pricing the 4GB of RAM with 64GB internal storage option would be priced at CNY 1999 ($294) or CNY 2299 ($339) and the 6GB of RAM with 128GB internal storage option will cost around CNY 2499 ($368) or CNY 2799 ($412).
Other variant of the Xiaomi X1 will also have 5.5 inch display but it will have 1920×1080 resolution with bezels. The device will be powered by the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset. Smartphone will be available in 6GB of RAM with 64GB internal storage which will cost around CNY 2299 ($339) and 6GB of RAM with 128GB internal storage will be priced at CNY 2799 ($412). As for camera it will also feature a dual camera setup but the fingerprint scanner will placed in the front.

Xiaomi is said to have dropped the rumoured Redmi Pro 2 due to poor sales of its predecessor Xiaomi Redmi Pro. According to a leak company will launching Xiaomi Redmi X1 along with Mi 6 Plus by the end of this month.
