YU Televentures a subsidiary company of Micromax Informatics has released its new mid-range smartphone Yu Yureka 2 in India. It will be the successor of Yu Yureka which was introduced in the market in January 2015. The handset will be available in single Gold colour option and will be available sale exclusively on e-commerce website Flipkart at Rs. 11,999.
As for the specs-sheet, The Yu Yureka 2 will feature a 5.5-inch IPS display with Full-HD (1920 x 1080) resolution and a 2.5D curved glass on top for screen protection. The smartphone follows a unibody metal design with minimal bezels on the sides. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of in-built storage, which is expandable via MicroSD card up to 128GB.
On the rear, the smartphone will sport a 16MP camera with a dual-LED flash and an 8MP front-facing camera for selfies and video-call. It will pack a 3930mAh battery which supports Quick Charge 3.0 for fast charging and will be running on outdated Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. The device will support 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS/ A-GPS, FM radio, 3.5mm audio jack, and Micro-USB port. Sensors on board include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, and proximity sensor.
